What's the position?

We are seeking a Real-Time Analyst (RTA) to join our dynamic team, reporting into the RTA Manager and RTA Team Lead.

The Real-Time Analyst (RTA) team plays a pivotal role in sportsbook success — monitoring betting activity, identifying pricing inefficiencies, and mitigating risk to protect margin and grow profitability. As the first line of defence, the team takes immediate, real-time action to prevent margin leaks, detect suspicious betting activity, correct pricing inefficiencies that impact performance, and flag any issues with incoming feeds.

The team works hand-in-hand with Trading, Player Optimisation, and Senior Management to drive real-time efficiency, sharpen market competitiveness, and deliver data-driven risk management across the sportsbook.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for enthusiastic sports people with experience working in a sportsbook or trading room, and a genuine passion for sport. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a knack for quickly spotting problem areas and taking ownership of resolving issues at the earliest opportunity.

Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential. You'll need a sharp eye for detail - as the job title suggests, this is real time, and every second matters. You should be comfortable making data-led decisions and be fully tuned in to sporting events across the calendar. Given the 24/7 nature of global sport, you'll be required to work weekends and unsocial hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Responsibilities

• Identify and escalate sportsbook margin leaks in real time, including incorrectly correlated Same Game Parlays (SGPs), past-posting issues, and pricing discrepancies.

• Analyse player betting patterns and risk exposure using sportsbook analytics tools.

• Collaborate with the Player Optimisation team to balance risk management with customer segmentation, supporting sustainable sportsbook growth.

• Apply trading expertise to market analysis and work with senior members of the RTA team to develop new trading strategies.

• Maintain high-quality, accurate bet notation and stay current on betting angles and market trends across multiple sports.

Analytical & Technical Skills

• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven risk assessments.

• Proficiency with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Amplitude is a strong plus.

Teamwork & Communication

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to team success and uphold high professional standards.
